Phew, I will need something lighthearted after reading #HowHighWeGoInTheDark, a novel about a different plague and how humanity reacts. It‘s both frightening (capitalism will still make a profit although millions are dying) and hopeful (many humans remain kind). As with many books like this, I soon grew confused with all the different perspectives 😕. But a couple of chapters were very impactful.

I asked the bookstore today on any updates on the books I pre-ordered, How High We Go In The Dark and Reminders of Him. Both of them were released on Tuesday. I told them to ship it to my parents house because I‘m staying there over the weekend. They told me it could take weeks 😩. Shipment is really bad here because of COVID and also paper shortage.
