Mind The Trigger Warnings...and then dive in and get caught up in this spicy #chunkster RH read. A total binge worthy book. I loved all of these perfectly imperfect characters. Off to order the next book! #bookspin #LittensLoveRomance @thearomaofbooks

Granta 25. Not on Litsy, have suggested it but I don‘t know how long that takes to be reviewed.

An interesting set of stories, from the gripping account of the Gibraltar killings to a murder tale in South Africa which annoyingly continues in the next issue !

Day 3 of the #20in4 #Readathon went well. I got a lot of reading done today and am now at 155/204 pages toward my goal.
My favorites so far are a short story by Louise Erdrich, also an excerpt from A Train in Winter, a book about the women of the French Resistance sent to Birkenau during WWII, and a photo essay, Un-Possible Retour by Clarisse d‘Arcimoles.
I hope you‘re having fun too @Andrew65 !

Andrew65 Brilliant! 👏👏👏 And yes having a great readathon - but not quite the one I planned 😂 (edited) 2y
PaperbackPirate Thank you! I guess as long as it was great then that‘s ok! 📚 2y

The sun has set on day 1 of the #20in4 #readathon.
I read 34/204 pages toward my goal. I need to pick up the pace to get there, but now that the weekend is here I should have more reading time.

My photo is from my outdoor reading session this evening.

📖 @Andrew65

Andrew65 Every little helps. The weekend will definitely help. 2y

📖 It‘s almost time for our next #20in4 #Readathon!

📚 My goal is to read 204 pages, which would
finish the tagged journal, and
start me on another book, either Gerald‘s Game by Stephen King or The Change by Kirsten Miller.

📝 Busy week ahead getting ready to go back to school, so thanks for the push @Andrew65 !

Mehso-so

The thing with anthologies like the quarterly Granta publications is that they‘re always going to be a mixed bag. There were 2 stand-out essays in this collection of 32 animal-themed works, Aman Sethi‘s Tyger Tyger (about the impact on villages of India‘s tiger reserve policy) and Cal Flynn‘s Winterkill, about management of the deer population in Scotland.

This was my #BookSpin for June @TheAromaofBooks
