This just keeps getting crazier and crazier. This one focuses mostly on the past. We finally find out how Dodge became evil! Very sad and bloody. Ending definitely creepy with the look “Bode“ gives in the panel. Wonderful all around and graphics are awesome as well.

Wow! What a crazy and insane volume! As usual our bad guy trying to look like a good guy is slowly but surely creeping in to finding the Omega key. Hearts are broken in this one and somebody comes back to shed light on what is happening. That end though! As soon as the truth was found out, it was like a roller coaster. Loved it!

I'm so glad I didn't give up on this series. The art work is getting much better than the first two volumes. In this story, Dodge is still searching for the black key and finds a shadow key to try and get what they want from the kids. Meanwhile, the mother is falling apart drunk and on a downward spiral. Really good story and loved the shadow monsters.

I actually enjoyed this one more than the first with the storyline. Still don't like the graphics. Bode found a key that can open your head and see what's inside (nothing gross!). There's more to it so I won't spoil it. I won't be continuing with the series due to the illustrations but I enjoyed the stories in the first two books.

Locke and Key is my second favorite graphic novel series, and this book includes a crossover with my favorite, Sandman. I‘d read two of the stories before, but they make more sense in this collection as they are part of a complete story. This is my last book of 2022, while Lessons in Chemistry will be my first of 2023. #lastfirst

Birdsong28 Lessons is such a great book to start the year with 😍📚📖 1y
BookNAround I meant to read Lessons in 2022. Hopefully I‘ll get to it this year. (edited) 1y

This little crossover, that I just got around to reading cause someone mentioned Sandman was in it, made me cry. And Ian and his father dealing with illness through a fantastical journey to the moon, then to have the story dedicated to Ray Bradbury, poet-king? My poor heart can only take so much.

I thought this was one of the better books in the series. As with the others, there is some gore. The illustrations are done very well.
