Oh nooo, that's a really rude cliffhanger.

Also, the plot thickens quite a bit in this volume! I really want vol 11 soon.

willaful Hate that! 3w

Actually Vol. 13…

Fantastic, heart-pounding, world-on-the-edge-of-total-destruction conclusion to a great series. Jinwoo Sung has one last battle to fight and it‘s going to take everything he has to save the people he loves…oh yeah, and the world too. Epic battles, snarky bad guys (lots and lots of them), and tough decisions. Super fun read and best of all the story is going to continue with a new generation. Can‘t wait to read more!

We get some answers! Kinda. Not very many.

I've ended up loving the fact that nothing really challenges Jinwoo. He just gets more and more overpowered, and that's fun.

Oof, poor Haein Cha. Jinwoo's so oblivious.

Loved him dashing to help his sister. 💙

Lots of action in this volume, not too much nattering, meaning it sped by.

I think this is going to be a running theme in this series

The library copy of this is falling apart!

This was brutal and very enjoyable. I would recommend people get a few volumes to read at a time, I'm a bit bereft that I've got to wait to get the next one

It's litrpg, dungeon crawler, magic. If you like that kind of thing, you'll enjoy this

IriDas I loved the anime. I‘ve read the first light novel. 1mo
PuddleJumper @IriDas Oo there are light novels too? Amazing 1mo

Jinwoo is so OP. 😅 It makes me wonder what exactly this is all building toward.

Despite the dark aspects of the story, he does still have quite a bit of decency remaining, e.g. releasing the soul of the healer rather than keeping it.

The part with just Jinwoo ascending the Demon's Castle sped by and is mostly him beating stuff up, but the second half of the book gets back to the Jeju Island plot. It feels weird that Jinwoo isn't involved in that, and a LOT of new characters are introduced which is a bit dizzying... I'm definitely starting to think I want to read the light novel.

Enjoyable, but the pacing felt a bit odd. Are the volumes being split weirdly or something?

I was eager to get the next volumes, but I haven't been reading a lot in the last couple of days. I think I overdid it on reading challenges -- so it was nice to feel a bit more like tucking into this, and get a chance to read it. I have volume 4 ready as well, which is nice.

I'm veeery curious about the System in this one and if indeed it does want to use Jinwoo for something. Each progressive volume feels a bit darker...
