so-soOriginally published in 1892, some parts were difficult to read with the tales being translated from Gaelic into English, focusing on the fact this book was to be marketed to English children in the late 19th/early 20th century. I would have enjoyed this collection more had it been annotated or had there been more of an explanation of the history and lore around the stories.
