pickThis book needs a trigger warning, but I can't quite figure out what would be appropriate. There's a lot of violence, both sexual and physical. I liked this book for a lot of reasons: women breaking barriers in metal music, how it violence affects someone's mental state, and how relatable the characters are, included. What frustrated me was the stereotype that metal music warps one's mental state and that's all this music is capable of. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
