pickPelosi narrates her book highlighting her most momentous events in the last 4 decades. She starts off with her husband Paul‘s attack, then covers 9/11 and the Iraq War, the 2008 recession, health care and the Affordable Care Act, Jan 6 then wraps it up with the AIDES quilt and a little insight to her home city, San Francisco. I really appreciate her hard work and the decades she‘s spent fighting to make our country better. ‘For the children.‘
so-soBiographies are always hard to judge. I feel like people should be allowed to tell their stories the way they want but I really found this lacking. The chapters are not chronological, but they also do not seem to build on each other. Which makes it feel like a hodgepodge of stories.
Overall it is fine (if you are not looking for humility or humbleness, which I think is okay). Really reminded me how awful Bush 2.0 was.

I wanted more about her life and she‘s not a writer, but she commands so much respect from me that I can only give her 5 stars.
