Glad I waited until the waning moments of the day to post this since I knocked another one out a couple of minutes ago! #bookreport #weeklyforecast @Cinfhen

WLP, my September #Bookspin, made me not want to vacation. I enjoyed Ikenga, which was my #aam pick.
I have about 3 days to finish Scatterlings before my book club meeting. I‘m just over halfway through. Sometimes I resist an “assigned” book even when I totally picked it. 🤷🏼♀️
Up next, horror. Not sure which book as sometimes library due dates decide things.

Continue Dr No
Finish Wow, No Thank You which I started today
Perhaps start Tess of the D'Urbevilles if I'm home from hospital tomorrow.

I keep going off forecast for my finishes but I'm happy that I finally got around to these two and am more of a House Andrews completionist now.

Goal this week is to make it to the end of the first story in Orphan's Tales and keep current with GoTChapterADay. I also want to start another audiobook on my commute because I'm tired of the same songs on the radio.
I‘ve had n urge to reread All Quiet on the Western Front (weird, I know), so I started that late last night. Ghosts is my library audiobook that is due back in a week, so I‘ll be listening to that next. I decided on some lighter fare for this year‘s Banned Books Week for my mental health so I may or may not relisten to To Kill a Mockingbird. #weeklyforecast

Another great reading week! I‘ve already recommended The Lost City of the Monkey God to a few people!
Looking at this week (and the month of #BuddyRead titles), I really have myself reading quite a number of group reads this time! Haha! I‘m very excited to dive into Tom Lake this week!

I‘ve just started Giving up the Ghost, Mantel‘s 2003 memoir, and want to continue my reading of that
I want to continue my audio, the tagged book
I‘m about to start Pet
After that I want to see how much else I can get to from this pile of mostly graphic stories; Garlic and the Vampire, Garlic and the Witch, Shy, Pumpkin Heads and When I Arrived at the Castle
The background is the Welsh countryside as seen from the train to Chester and Gladstone‘s Library. I ended up not seeing as much as I would have liked due to my own shenanigans, but what I saw was lovely. Anyway, here‘s what‘s on tap this week…
Green Mansions is a little florid and may take me a while to read. Isabel Allende is back on the menu! Happiness Falls is very interesting.
