Mehso-so

This is an insane thing that happened and Carreyrou did a great job uncovering it all for the Wall Street journal (it‘s actually incredible how many people suspected something was up before the dots were connected). But this book was just way. Too. Long. I was really over it by half way through. I see that Holmes has since been indicted on criminal charges and I hope she gets what‘s coming to her. #readharderchallenge #nonviolenttruecrime

Pickpick

Has anyone seen the documentary The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley yet? I'm wanting to watch it after listening to this.
This account was absolutely wild. It's crazy to think how long Holmes deceived everyone and horrifying at how many people could've died had this gone into more stores. Completely irresponsible, very good reporting.

mklong Yes, The Inventor is great to watch after reading the book. They interviewed several of the same people, so it‘s cool to put faces with the names. 6y
night_shift @mklong cool! Good to know. I'll have to queue it up for my next off day, thanks! 6y

1) tagged. I really needed something light to pull me out of the slump I‘ve been in. And Brave New World on Audio.. though I don‘t know if that is helping the slump.
2)I checked out Bad Blood from my work library on Tuesday. I probably won‘t get to it for awhile.. it will be for #readharderchallenge #nonviolenttruecrime
3) I‘m definitely a night owl.
