Librariana @RaeLovesToRead - I was just watching RinceyReads on her YouTube channel talking about how much money she spent on books this year (in comparison to previous ones!) and I really appreciate that she doesn't subscribe to the acquiring pressure of BookTube/Bookstagram. She talks about consumer culture but also about not making ourselves (or each other!) feel guilty about our own shopping habits, especially if our budgets allow for it 😁 1y

JamieArc @RaeLovesToRead @Librariana I won‘t be doing a *total* no buy, but hoping to really decrease compared to what I did this year. I plan on making a list of books I want/that keep catching my eye and give myself several occasions where I‘m allowed to acquire some books. Hopefully it will also make me appreciate more what I do choose! 1y
