#readharderchallenge2019 task 19 a book about nonviolent true crime

I did a little library trip and picked up this beauty! I‘ve never read any of Jesmyn Ward‘s books, but I‘ve heard great things. If you are doing the @bookriot #readharderchallenge2019 this qualifies for the “book by a woman and/or AOC (Author of Color) that won a literary award in 2018” category. Have you guys read any of her books? What did you think? Let me know!!

As a woman, i love what she has done for equality. I also appreciate what she had to do to get there. I feel many of us take working for granted. #readharderchallenge2019 childrens or middle grade book that won a diversity award in 2018

Had to take a break from The absolutely brilliant tagged book coz it was making me angry(arsonists should be hung up by their short&curlies😡)So, because I‘m a glutton for punishment, I‘m adding both the #ReadHarderChallenge2019 & the #ReadingWomenChallenge to my challenge journal.
