Isle of Iona was on original To See List for Scotland. We just ran out of time. Not much fiction set on Iona. Would also like to read a history of. Recommendations? This book is pretty typical historical fiction. Lots of Sassenachs, Bonnie Prince Charlie, and whisky. I referred to it as a Trashy Romance Novel but actually there was hardly any sex. It was pretty tame and written in a flowery not graphic manner. #iona #mounttbr #readmyshelves2018
Phryne being Phryne at the Theatre. Plus there is a new man in her life.
I love how Phryne for all her wild ways and unconventional lifestyle always saves the children.
Much as I adore TV Phryne; I much prefer the older Art Deco covers. They are stunning with so much detail. I didn't notice the naked nymphs at first. 😄

Pleasant read with all my favorite things: #laphroiag #tea #chocolate
Ann Cleeves Shetland Mysteries are still my favorite. In those books Shetland feels like it's more of a character while in this series it's just the location. Feels like it's going to be more of a cosy series with the heroine stumbling onto crimes and boat settings. Will see how rest of series goes. #readmyshelves2018 #mounttbr #shetland
Perfect read for cold Sunday morning. It's a very pretty book with beautiful pictures. It's a #readmyshelves2018 #MountTBR #MountBlanc book I will be keeping.
My previous read was such a downer I needed something light to listen. This wasn't that, but it was unlike anything I've ever read. Seriously evil teen age girls, crazy fan girls, one girl who tries to do the right thing and some really dumb boys. Really good Audio book narrator. #readmyshelves2018
After finishing Code Name Verity earlier today; I needed fluff. This was perfect. Short and Sweet. #readmyshelves2018
