pick⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 This was quite good. I picked this Reagan bio specifically because the description said it was not a hagiography. It gave a lot of great insight into his upbringing and time in Hollywood and as a GE pitchman before entering politics. I hadn‘t realized he was a staunch liberal well into middle age. Or that his first wife divorced home because she was bored to death of his monologues.💀
As a historian, I ask the what-ifs. This quote made me think of January 6, 2021. If Reagan made the same comment today, could it incite another insurrection?
