Jane and Prudence: A Novel | Barbara Pym

saresmoore @batsy She really is, although much more fickle. But she has a great job typing things and shuffling papers in an academic‘s office that occupies her mind in between thinking about meals, contemplating religion & poetry, and dreaming of unsuitable men. 💅 7y

batsy @saresmoore #livingthedream When I first got to Canada and couldn't get over how there were LIBRARIES with all the books (or at least you could request them), this was what I tried to do during the semester breaks. May I also recommend this if you haven't read it, it's stunning
