New adventure!
Good book to have on hand! Lots of info for Sashiko projects. Use graphs individually or for the quilt project.

Bit of a mixed bag. Lots of pretty photographs, slight veering into simple living tenets, and unfortunately of the colour photographs, the majority were of completed projects, only seven were of certain sashiko designs, the rest of the instructions were in black and white diagrams, no photos, in 20 pages at the back. Lovely to see what the finished work can look like, but I'd rather have more of the well spaced instructions with colour photos.

Yeah, so I need to OWN this...I truly don't feel qualified to review this as I have not attempted any of the techniques listed, but it's clear it would be a handy regular resource, the kind of thing you keep on the shelf at home, rather than take out once from the library.

Okay, so I'm fickle in my affections. The "crossed weave" is my new favourite, though I admit, it might just be the colours at play, here. ?

The "confetti patch". Currently my favourite.

Working on a little #sashiko / #boro / #slowstitching project while I listen to this gem of a man📚
(It is a quilted pouch to store my Nintendo Switch - because it needs protection from my sneaky 1 yr old😂)
