Not book related but I just had to say something. I finally watched Time: The Kalief Browder Story on Netflix and, though I had already known about his case, my blood is boiling all over again. The system fails young black and brown men like Kalief every single day in this country and it's unconscionable. His story will stay with me forever and I'd highly recommend watching this docuseries, whether you've heard his story before or not #sayhisname

MicheleinPhilly That series was so well done. One of the most gut-wrenching things I have ever seen. I wish it had been on a more widely seen network when it originally aired but I'm happy that it is available on Netflix. It needs to be seen. 💔 7y
