Pickpick

Just finished reading Ghost Station by SA Barnes and it was AWESOME. Twisty story, scary space station, mind-bending situations…I had a great time. The atmosphere was impeccable - I never knew when something might be coming around a corner. Highly recommend for sci-fi horror fans!

I'm only a few pages into this one but it is suitably creepy, mysterious, and the writing is sooo good

Dead Silence | S.A. Barnes

Pickpick

Sci fi horror thriller = creepy and atmospheric. A luxury space ship missing for 20 years is found by a maintenance crew. Hoping for a cash payout, Claire and team board the ship and find horrific signs of what happened to the passengers. Then something starts to haunt Claire's crew too. Two timelines didn't achieve anything and neither did using present tense. Claire is a difficult character but she's brilliantly performed by actor Lauren Ezzo.

Here are my #NoShameReadathon22 #Horror #Thriller reads. I actually plan on really diving into this genre for fall but some great reads here.

MaleficentBookDragon I read Dead Silence this year. I loved it! I didn‘t know there was even such a thing as #SciFiHorror books. I‘m in 😍. Do you have any others you‘d recommend? 2y
Nessavamusic @MaleficentBookDragon I really enjoyed it too! I haven‘t, but I‘d love to find more. Helm of Midnight is sci-fi also, but it is a mix of genres. A similar vibe that I love is (edited) 2y
MaleficentBookDragon @Nessavamusic oh yes!!!! I absolutely 😍😍😍that one. I‘ve read it twice and listened to the audiobook twice. I also love the prequel . They are two of my my favorite underwater creature books. 2y
