pickIt took me a while to re-immerse myself in this world (shout out to @bookseriesrecaps for their always-helpful site!), but once I was back in it, I thoroughly enjoyed the conclusion of this duology. Ahdieh confronts notions of leadership, gender roles, class discrimination, and more(!), all in a brilliantly written fantasy world. Strong YA fantasy novel.
