pickThis book was peculiar. Mad. An oddity. And that makes it endearing. It's confusing unless you are paying attention. Some will enjoy it. Many will not.
It is a very unique spin on fairy tales.
I loved it for it's strangeness.

pickThis book was a fantastic marriage of dystopian and fantasy. Both of my favorite genres. This is unlike any of her other books I've read, but it's a series I'll be rereading again! So excited to get the rest of the series in the mail.

pickThe Passengers was excellent. It showed some disgusting sides of humanity. Marrs seems to specialize in psychopaths. But definitely thrilling read. Some of my initial guesses proved to be correct in the end. I misread a couple of circumstances. The editing could have been better. There were a few spelling errors, grammatical errors and inconsistencies that should have been caught by a decent editor which irks me.

so-soI like this book better than Arena. She's improved with character development although it's still far behind where I feel it should be.
I was disappointed to find she had no plans to write the concluding book in the trilogy. Had I known that I might not have chosen to read it, especially with the cliffhanger Gauntlet ended on.
