I was attending a Christening when one of the older kids started telling me about this book and how she had a tough time with it because it was very scary. There was a point where I thought she had dreamt some parts because they seemed too scary for a kids book, a kid tied up on a chair and I demon dentist pulling all his teeth for example. By coincidence we had to pick a scary book for a book club this month, and we went with this one. ⬇️⬇️

4 ⭐I love these books. They‘re sweet. They‘re funny. They‘re understandable and almost always have a lesson. But the nice thing is the lesson isn‘t browbeating the reader. It puts it in a way that kids will get and kids will want to ape. I get excited every time I see there‘s a new one so Ben Clayton, please keep them coming.

This is a great book for kids who hate to brush their teeth. #ISpyBingoNovember @Clwojick @TheAromaofBooks

Bite wanders through the animal kingdom looking at teeth and how they serve various species. It‘s really interesting with some fun nerdy humor here and there. The one negative for me is this is my second read from Schutt and for me he tends to be a bit dry in places.

I really enjoy the artwork throughout this book as well as that it provides some characteristics that readers can relate to.

I feel as though this book is very empowering for young readers. As well as a bigger meaning behind the story.
