Pickpick

Second-to-last Kinsey Millhone story. If you like your female detectives to solve crimes with old school methods, she‘s your girl. She is a bit cranky, mostly introverted, and takes a morning jog only out of necessity. This time, she sticks her neck into a few places it doesn‘t really belong. Definitely better than the last two books, which were disappointing.

BarbaraTheBibliophage @BookishMarginalia, would you mind posting a link to the A to Z challenge? I didn‘t sign up, but just finished it. So I‘d like to fill out a form! Thanks. 🤪📚😘 5y
AlaMich I didn‘t like it when Grafton began the storyline that brought in Kinsey‘s family. 5y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @AlaMich Thankfully, this one had none of that! 5y

Gissy Wow but that is from a loooong series!😳Do you have to read it in order? 5y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Gissy I have read them in order. Very very slowly, since she was still writing them during this time. I think I‘ve listened to more on audio than read the books. My first was back in the early 1990s. 5y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Gissy If you were going to start them, I think it does make sense to read them in order. They all happen over a relatively short time (just a few years) in the late 1980s. 5y
Gissy @BarbaraTheBibliophage Thank you! I will start with the first one then to see how I like it. 5y
