Pat Peoples‘ story is uncomfortable in the very best way. He is good hearted, and we get ringside seats to his process of managing a mental health crisis. I‘d call it a medium dark read, though, since the Philly fandom and female friendship aspects mostly lighten the mood. Just like a cloud with Silver Linings! (More real and ultimately better than the movie.)
