pickIn just 46 pages, "The Killing Joke" packs a goddamn wallop. The only disappointing thing is that Babs is basically nothing more than a prop; the animated film gives her a little more of a presence, but still. (Though it is, at heart, a story about Batman and the Joker, I'm a Babs girl through and through, and always want more.) Definitely worth the read. #batman #thekillingjoke #dccomics
Batman has always been a favorite (I'll fight anyone who tries to argue that B:TAS isn't the best Batman screen adaptation of all), and a few months ago, I watched the animated adaptation of "The Killing Joke"; they did a terrific job translating page to screen.
