#top10thrillers @Chelsea.Poole

I don't read a lot of thrillers, but there was a time I read Nordic Noir and the tagged series was one of my favorite. I also liked The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Steig Larsson, the Joona Linna series by Lars Kepler (these kept me up at night), And, my all-time time Nordic Noir author was the Department Q series by Jussi Adler Olsen (it had some humor).

Chelsea.Poole Thank you! I am unfamiliar with several you mentioned — looking into them now 😊 2d
tpixie Nordic Noir is a perfect way to describe the series 2d
DogMomIrene @tpixie Totally agree! I loved the original trilogy? Have you read the books written under his name after he died? Any good? 15h

Today is the 1st meeting of a new book club I‘m hosting at our library. We will discuss our “most memorable” thrillers/mysteries. I put this list together, but I know I‘m leaving out so many—plus I‘m seeking recommendations for selections for our upcoming discussions.

I‘m sharing my #top10thrillers here to get started. I‘ve found so many of these types to be forgettable. Which titles have stood out to you over time? Tag me if you make a post!

CBee Love so many of your choices! I‘m going to have a think 🤔 2d

Chelsea.Poole @tpixie agreed! That one really got me in the mom-heart. I have been curious about her follow up, so I‘m glad to see it has your approval. 2d
Chelsea.Poole @BkClubCare right!? It‘s most memorable for me as well, that‘s why I tagged it. I still remember reading it on a road trip with my husband (before we were married) and just COULDNT put it down. (edited) 2d
Chelsea.Poole @AlaMich oh thanks! I recognize that cover after looked up Bullet Train. Sounds propulsive! 2d
BkClubCare @Chelsea.Poole Right! And truly Behind Her Eyes was wild. Never saw it coming. 1d

CBee @Chelsea.Poole The Passengers by John Marrs was excellent (I still think about it). I also loved None of This is True by Lisa Jewell. What Happened to Nina by Dervla McTiernan, For Your Own Good by Samantha Downing (bonkers). Those are just some I read last year. 1d
TheKidUpstairs Listen for the Lie by Amy Tintera
