#tradingday I read an Amado years ago , forget which one. Want to read more international authors , Amado is from Brazil.I remember liking these Avon covers too.My local used store took about half a bankers box full , but then when I found out they had a buy 3 get the 4th free, went to take another look.Found the lovely Hopkins and (yippee!) a Virago!

arubabookwoman I loved Gabriela too. I‘be also read a couple of other Amado‘s and have a further few on my TBR shelf. Also have The Orchid House on the TBR shelf. 6y
