I loved meeting the turkeys during my first visit to Woodstock Sanctuary many years ago. I will never eat one of them again. Thanksgiving is where I draw my line. I cannot sit at a table with the corpse of someone like this beautiful bird.
Today I will eat my weight in potatoes, catch up on reading, and pretend I don‘t have to work tomorrow. I‘m grateful for you guys. And for 3.5 weeks till vacation!
