I can see what Pierce is doing here and it‘s admirable but the execution is leaving me cold. I was hoping to enjoy this but so far it‘s strictly reading out of duty. I‘ll give it to 25% before I decide whether to put it aside #BookSpin #VintageSciFiMonth

Foundation Trilogy | Isaac Asimov

You can‘t beat the classics. Isaac Asimov wrote some great science fiction books, a true favourite! Many years in my youth spent on these. #ASpacemanCameTravelling #WinterWonderland

TrishB I loved these in my teens - not so sure I would now. 6y
Andrew65 @TrishB Me too, would be interesting to read these now and see how they stand up. 6y
EadieB @Andrew65 I have those books! They are on the list 1001. Not sure I will like them though. 6y

myellenbee Also check out the Caves of Steel, The Naked Sun ,and The Robots of Dawn. A trilogy with a policeman and his partner a robot. Also by Asimov. 6y
Cinfhen I‘ve never read Asimov although he is probably a pioneer in sci-fi 6y
SleepyDragon I plan to reread the trilogy some day, as I don't remember very much. Question, though. Do you recommend the entire series, or just the original trilogy? 6y
