pickWhile I‘m definitely not the best reader for this book (there‘s SO much detailed description of soccer games), the stories of the refugees are compelling. Luma, the coach, is a great central character for the book, and I wish that several of the players who appear throughout the book had been similarly developed. I‘m excited to take this to my classroom to see what my students think!
