Pickpick

UGH so many feels.

This series has carved my chest open, crawled inside the cavity and played some hardcore rugby with my heart.

Vasya, the MC, is strong, but not superhuman. She represents feminism without preaching, and builds a bridge between worlds in the process. She never claims to be more than she is, but she never denies her nature either.

I could cry with awe (which I‘ll probably do when I‘m done).

No tea or chocolate but coffee and candy instead! But still it‘s a cold night perfect for snuggling up and diving into my book to start the weekend! 🌨🌬☕️📖🥰

Litsy friends...I‘m having a terrible time getting into this third book. Does it get better?

I think the series must have been written as a complete novel and then broken up into three books because it felt like there was no pause between the second and third book. And since it‘s been a year since I read the second, I‘m just lost in the action. Boo.

kalinichta This is the problem I have with reading series (aside from my "Bored now!" attention span) - if I have to wait too long between books, I totally forget the details. I need series books to come with an optional recap like some television shows have. 6y
SkeletonKey @kalinichta - Yes! Books in a series used to be much better about leading in with past details but not so much these days. 6y
