This lovely Canadian picture book reminds us that we are all interconnected and that looking to the natural world around us is a source of joy and comfort. A book for all ages, with lots of small details to discover on careful perusal. The wordless story was imagined by Rina Singh and illustrated by Nathalie Dion, two creators who‘ve won awards previously. Soft colours and delicate textures create a reassuring atmosphere. 🇨🇦 #kidlit

The book opens with just shades of black, then barbed wires, and a child staring out from behind the forbidding wires, where a monstrous spider began chasing the child.
