This book s a story about Anastasia Romanoff at the time leading to the death of the Imperial family, and at the same time is about Anna Anderson, who claimed to be Anastasia. Anna‘s portions of the book are told in reverse chronological order, which leaves you guessing until the end as to her true identity. A captivating read that had me researching the Russian revolution as I read.

Pickpick

Initially, I was not sure this book would hold my interest. I don‘t read too many romances any more, but this one caught my eye. I am not too knowledgeable about Cuba‘s history, and had to stop to research, but this was an enjoyable read. It is a little challenging with the jumping back and forth between time periods though. The end of the book contained a preview of the follow up book, due out next spring, and I am really looking forward to it.
