pickThese are brief encouragements to keep going, reminders that we are each unique, special, loved, and worthy. There‘s nothing particularly earth shattering here, but if you need a pick-me-up, it‘s worth dipping into. I wouldn‘t recommend reading it all in one go, though. It‘s nice to actually finish a book, even if I didn‘t love it. Not being able to stick with anything is very stressful and that makes it harder to stick with something. 🤦🏻♀️

Loving my new book light and Anne of Green Gable‘s print! The light folds open into book pages to turn on, but folds shut into a small brown book to turn off. 😍 The perfect nightstand additions!
Wow. This is the BEST BOOK I've ever read in my life! Wow! It's so poetic and full of encouragement; I highly recommend it. Usually, I donate my books after it's read, but I'm going to hold on to this one. This one is, with no doubt, a keeper.
pickThis is a beautiful little book of short messages (“pep talks”) about facing each day. I don‘t know if this would qualify as poetry or a graphic novel or a little bit of both, but what fun this book was! It made me smile and it made me feel good. I really felt like the authors were personally speaking to me and it is just so motivating and a happy, feel good read. Pick up this book because it will make your day better!

pickI probably have half of this bookmarked. It was a much faster read than I was expecting, but I already want to reread it. I‘m definitely going to get this book in physical copy and the audiobook. It‘s just so good, I need it in every possible medium. I loved LMM before, but I really love him now.

pickThis book is as great as you'd think it'd be. If you like Lin or are already familiar with his Good Morning and Good Night tweets, then that is exactly what to expect with this book. It is a perfect dose of realness and positivity and motivation to help you get through your days.

pickThis is the perfect balm for our current situation. It is a compilation of Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s Gmorning & Gnight tweets. I listened to the audiobook so I missed out on the illustrations, but Miranda reads it himself so of course it was delightful. I listened to just a few pep talks at a time so I could enjoy it for as long as possible.

pickGmorning! EVERYONE needs to read this short book ASAP!! I have read a few tough books lately and needed something happy. There is NOTHING better than LMM telling you how awesome you are. I really needed this encouraging little book. If you are having a rough time with social distancing or your kids and their “distance learning” is driving you crazy 🙋🏼♀️ read this book! So I think it‘s really important to give myself positive affirmations. This book was super cute and gave me a bunch of ideas of what little pep talks I can give myself every morning.. and then a good “you did great” each night.

Fun NYC trip with my friend Amelia - we went in for the Book Fair for Grownups run by Penguin Random House. Saw John Hodgeman, and Lin-Manuel Miranda was the person ahead of us in line buying books (spot his head)!
Unfortunately it was WAY too crowded and the books were full list price despite being publisher-run and costing admission to get in, so afterward we went to The Strand (her first time!) and got a very satisfying and cheaper book haul.
pick4/5 🌟 I really wasn't sure what to expect when I picked this one up but it was definitely an uplifting #audiobook full of morning and nightly words of #positivity. And Lin-Manuel's narration was superb! The only reason it doesn't get a 5/5 from me is because it lacks a bit of oomph (it's a feeling). Definitely recommend it. Alexa, play one of these messages when I wake up and go to bed #nonfiction

pickWhat a beautiful book! Best of Lin Manuel Miranda's daily morning/night afirmations from Twitter. Over the last few months, I've loved beginning and ending my day with these inspirational thoughts. Definitely a keeper to revisit whenever I need a pep talk.
pickAmong the many things I LOVE about LMM, as well as this book, is his attention to the details of the mundane. I appreciated this book for reminding me how there is so much in our world of which we can be grateful. Including giving love to Satsuki and Mei‘s dad! ¡Vamos!
