Tart and Sweet | Amy Lane

Pickpick

I've loved this sweet filled series from Amy Lane. We saw a cameo from a couple of characters from her Promises series, which I must admit made me squee. I loved Robbie's story. I was a little apprehensive coming into it knowing his history with Adam because I love Adam and Finn, and didn't want anyone to come between them. I'll be sad to see the series end. I just hope she might give us some little updates every now and then.

@SamDestiny has written some refreshingly original Vampires here. I couldn't help but fall for some of her warriors. Her sexy twin brothers had me drooling. Maya is a strong woman who has been through some nasty ordeals, but she isn't a whiner, which is always a plus. Jaden is a Morning Star warrior who is loyal to his race.
I loved this story, it's a great start to what looks like it's going to be a fantastic series.
Lex and Red are mine!

The Last Mile | David Baldacci

This author has a new fan... Me.
This story was equally as gripping as the first in the series. I was constantly guessing the "who dun it?" and why?, even when I'd had to put it down. I couldn't get the story out of my mind until I'd turned that last page. I want to know what case Amos Decker is going to take on next and if we'll see anything more from 'Mellow'. Unfortunately the next book isn't out yet, I just hope Mr Baldacci is working on it.

Memory Man | David Baldacci

This is my first David Baldacci book. The minute I started listening I was hooked. When I had no choice but to stop - because everyone has to sleep, I couldn't stop thinking about what was happening in the story and why. It was a gripping story and Amos Decker is such an interesting character. I'm looking forward to starting the next book in the series.

Oh how I've missed Ron and his humour. I feel your pain Ron... Feet are the worst.

I hate this book. It's evil. I've never cried so hard reading a book before, I don't mean a few tears rolling down your cheeks, I mean sobbing so hard you can't breathe, your nose becomes so stuffy your ears block, and your eyes feel raw from all the tissues you've rubbed them with. Damn you Will Traynor.
In saying all that, I LOVED this story. I went into this book thinking it was a soppy love story... It was so much more.

Another fabulous book from Michael Robotham. He always gives me everything I want from a crime/thriller read. I love the narrators voice for Ruiz, it's just the perfect amount of gravel.

I finally got my hands on a copy @SamDestiny. It's definitely going to be my next read.

BookJunkie429 I cried so hard reading it! 8y
Aim4theNeck @BookJunkie429 that's why I got it. I'd rather have the good cry reading it than have it watching the movie. I'll be prepared then... Maybe. Lol 8y
BookJunkie429 @Aim4theNeck I'm not watching the movie until it's out on dvd. Lol! The book was too much for me. 😭 8y
JamieSummer just finished it today. surprisingly enough, i didnt cry. and i'm usually a crier 8y

Moon called is my favourite reread ever. I've read it well over ten times. It always gets me out of a book funk. I could never get enough of Mercy and the gang.

SamDestiny Still not really a fan of the book. It was nice though. Are you re-reading? 8y
Aim4theNeck @SamDestiny I loved it. Not rereading though. It's just a quote I like. :) 8y
