A quick trip yielded a short stack. So excited to continue the stories told in My Name is Lucy Barton.

First Booklist review book of 2017

ErinBumG I just added this to my TBR solely based on the title. Let me know if I need to amend my high hopes. :) 7y
Alekscake @ErinBumG I gave it a good review! It's definitely chick lit, but smart and entertaining. The F refers to fat - in case that sways you one or another. 7y

The Hopefuls: A novel | Jennifer Close
post image

This novel is set in DC during the early years of Obama's administration, and the main character's husband works in the White House. The book is entertaining enough, but mainly it's making me feel wistful for how good we had in 2009. Close writes snappy, slightly fluffy ladies lit.
