Anyone else have this issue? I never know from one day to the next if I‘ll be able to access the app. And when it happens I can‘t get on the website from my laptop either. I thought maybe I missed an update but I checked the App Store and the last update was 5 years ago! I clicked the link to App Support but it just took me to Librarything home page. I even deleted the app then redownloaded it but two days later I couldn‘t get on. So frustrating!

I DNF'd a total of 3 books this month. Here they are with a quick summary as to why.

Saw this in an Edinburgh museum and thought it was neat how books were made available to sailors & soldiers. “Sack for library books made available to sailors on board Royal Navy warships during the Second World War. To the right is a watercolour entitled 'Beachhead Library' This shows soldiers using a mobile library service during the Normandy campaign, 1944. Even on campaign, servicemen were provided with diversion during periods of inactivity.“

Sorry for not posting anything, this year started out nuts, last month I has an anxiety attack thanks to some idiot hitting my house with his truck, he broke oneof the beams to our front deck, luckily it wasn't the main one so we can still use it , and no one was hurt .

1. No, but I surprised my daughters (18 and 20) with Starbucks at school/work during my lunch break.

2. Yes, and I miss mine every day! 😭💔💙

3. The perfect V-Day would be just having him here as this is my first alone since he passed last Summer. We never did much for V-Day because our anniversary was the 15th which is when we'd always do our big celebrations. Tomorrow would have been our 5th anniversary. 😥

I‘ve been reading this series on Tapas for a long time, and it‘s been on hiatus, but the author is returning to finish it! It‘s such a cute little story of a town where every day, it storms at exactly the same time. Also, there‘s witches!

An other true crime from my country

A recommendation from TikTok...I kinda liked the story, I kinda hated the story...Still like a damsel in distress storyline.
But, I do want to know what happens to certain characters so I might read the next one.

A true crime book from my country. It was interesting yet so sad to read these cases.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I wanted to really love this but I just couldn't get or understand the FMC. She's irresponsible on so many different levels, that I'm not sure how she's managed to live this far, based on her actions in the book, is astounding. I loved the MMC and his family, a bit of a hero complex, but all in all it was an ok novella.

Short story with shifting perspectives. I didn‘t like any of the characters but I don‘t think you‘re supposed to, which made it a hard read despite it being 28 pages.

Major trigger warning for rape.
