Wow! I love this nonfiction book. It is one of a series about healthy eating. This book is all about the different types of meats, fish, and eggs. It tells the reader about all of the benefits of eating each different type. It also tells how to have a balanced meal. Since there are big words it even provides a glossary! This modern (animal) fantasy is a great book for EL students because the illustrations are very telling of what is happening in the story. There is also a lot of rhyming and repetition. This RL is a book about a girl named Lucy who moves around a lot, and has to make new friends. In chapter 3, we find out that Lucy's Dad is going out of town for his job being a photographer.
