In the Mockingjay, Katniss Everdeen was rescued from playing in the Quarter Quell. She then finds herself in District 13, that was supposedly destroyed. Katniss‘s home, District 12 was destroyed and turned into rubble. Peeta has been brainwashed while he was being kept in the Capital. Katniss is then put in the middle of a huge rebellion.
Camryn_VandenBroeke She is considered the “Mockingjay”, their saving grace. Peeta‘s memory has been tampered with, so he acts out against Katniss. She finds that she is having a hard time choosing between Peeta and her childhood friend, Gale. Katniss fights against the Capitol and ends up winning. She loses friends along the way but she learns from mistakes and gains the upper hand against the Capitol. 2y
Camryn_VandenBroeke In the end she moves back to her home in District 12, as it survived the attack from the Capitol, and lives with Peeta and Haymitch. If you like books that have romance, heartbreak, and action all together this is the book for you. Mockingjay is in the first person point of view, Katniss Everdeen tells her story. She shows her emotions and her experience throughout the novel. 2y
