My September #bookspin: The Wives by Tarryn Fisher. I‘ve been in a bit of a slump when it comes to domestic thrillers. The Wives pulled me right out of it. I really enjoyed this book! It is fast paced from the start and kept me on my toes til the very end.

This was my June #bookspin but the waiting list at my library was too long so I went out and bought it. I‘m glad I didn‘t wait because this book is wonderful! The dialogue is phenomenal - Patrick is hilarious and his interaction with his niece and nephew seemed realistic. The lessons were sentimental without being sappy and I couldn‘t ask for a better summer read.

marleed I had to own this book after starting with the library, too. It belongs on my stack of 5 stars! 3y
Cassieloo @marleed 100%. Definitely a 5 star read and I love seeing it on my bookshelf! 3y

Running late but here‘s my #bookspin list for August. My July reading was a little slow so I‘ll give #bookspinbingo a go as well!

4/5 - this was my May #bookspin and I was nervous for this one because I knew it would be a hard read. And it was! Reading about all that Adunni went through made me uncomfortable. But more than that I was encouraged by the way Adunni continued on and never let go of her dreams, no matter the situation that she found herself in. The book also pushed me to consider the things in my life I take for granted. Adunni offers a humbling perspective.

I picked this book up not knowing much about it other than it has a gorgeous cover and is centered around small town drama. I LOVED THIS. I enjoyed all the characters and they are all fleshed out in their own way. This is the type of book I wished we read in high school.
