I really enjoyed reading this book. I love how it includes lots of history about the Romanovs. It's fun traveling with Anna, Jess's great-great-aunt, on her journey from St. Petersburg to New York in her journals. As Jess is reading the journals with her translator Evan, she learns more about herself.

Mehso-so

If you are someone who wants to read a book from the perspective of a man who is mentally disabled, this is the book to read.
It was interesting to read in the beginning with all of the misspelled words and wrong grammar punctuations, but as a whole it was an okay book. I didn't like the way most people treated Charlie throughout the book, but was happy when his friends took him back after everything that happened to him.

I really enjoyed the book. After I read it, I watched the movie with my classmates in our Novel class. While watching, I expected many things to happen but never did or there were scenes that were added to the movie. I enjoyed the book more than the movie, even though it had a slow plot line in the beginning. Once the plot picks up speed, it is a very entertaining book.
