Wow wow wow. I wish I read this when I was little older because reading it a second time I realize how much I didn‘t understand. It‘s a dense book, but such a rollercoaster.

Eh it didn‘t do it for me. I found myself hating the main character and I couldn‘t get past it. Wasn‘t fond of the ending either.

I was so mad because I predicted some of the ending, but I still loved this book!! I think I liked Gone Girl a little better, but this one was certainly suspenseful.

It took me a minute to get into this book. I was kind of bored in the beginning, but the ending saved the book.

So so good. This book was what made me realize how much I love a good thriller. I would definitely recommend - so many plot twists!

This was a step up from typical Nicholas Sparks book. It had the classic love story, but also a thrilling plot line with a bunch of twists and turns. I could NOT put it down.

I didn‘t realize it until a good chunk into the book, but the story is told backwards. I was extremely confused at first, but once I realized things were moving in reverse everything started to fall into place. Not my favorite book ever, but still a good suspense read!

A different style of writing - It‘s a very quick read because of the way it‘s written (almost poetry-like). I loved the writing style though and I‘ve read it numerous times. The ending was such a twist I didn‘t see coming. I loved it!!

Set in both the present-day and Holocaust era. Absolutely loved it!

Lanysse The book was written well and the story was intense. One needed to put the story away for awhile and read something else. The book would make a challenging bookclub discussion. 6y
