I already have.. opinions.
10/10, please read this beautiful story of all kinds of love and brokenness.

If I were recommending this for myself? Pick. Definitely. Anyone else? Probably not but it‘s a good little guilty read. No smut, but a lot of ya tension. I picked this up as a shifter cleanser because I read Given which was.. immensely bad. This was considerably better and a very quick read. 👌
I loved Tristan and Isolde, so when this popped up (that cover!! to die for!!!) I had no option but to read it. A loose retelling of the romantic tragedy, this book was so beautiful in its imagery and character building that I nearly forgot that truly sad things were inevitable outside of the romantic struggles my little avian babies were facing.. the ending hit me in the face like a ton of bricks. Definite pick for 2020.
I don‘t know what the heck I just read but here we are..
“Remind me next time that I agree to something like this that I am an /idiot/ and should not be trusted to make these decisions.” He said, wheezing.
Showing your age, old man Tybalt 😂
“We do not raise the dead by mourning them so fiercely that we join them.”
-Tybalt, King of Cats
“We have to burn brightly, we can‘t burn forever.”
I didn‘t think my heart could hurt anymore and Emily said THINK AGAIN
Me reading initially: man I sure love Malachiasz
Me after reading: man I sure am afraid of Malachiasz
I have feelings that I can‘t yet put into words. I love Torwin so much.
Emily is my entire aesthetic, so I‘m super excited to dive into this read again. 👏
I can already tell this is gonna be what I need. I‘ve got the audiobook to go along with a physical copy to read when I‘m busy about the house sewing and decorating, and it‘s narrated by Pearl Mackie. Her voice is beautiful, and perfect for this story.
My lil heart wasn‘t really in the mood for a ya contemporary but I felt like I had to read it especially because my best friend was squealing about it all day. So I read it, and I enjoyed it even though I felt a little disconnected. It felt totally Seattle tho, and I want to go back.
