Sigh. my most humble opinion, this book is everything you want from a slow burn romance. Even when it makes your palms sweaty with anticipation and your cheeks flushed from all the longing and heated stares. I wish I had a coworker who looks like Clark Kent, is willing to be my fake boyfriend at my sister's wedding in Spain, who would buy me 5 fish tacos even though I asked for 4 fish tacos, smuggles doughnut for me, & whose favorite movie is Up

Maverick is the guy you seek out on campus when you need something. He‘ll make it happen, but there is always a price to be paid. He‘ll help you out and you‘ll owe him a favor whenever he decides to call it in.

Ainsley is quirky and a whole bunch of fun. She‘s just been screwed over by her long time boyfriend and her roommate. Now with no place to live, she‘s looking for the guy that makes things happen. He‘s her last hope.

I loved this book. Teardrop Shot is a quirky emotional romance that at the end of the day, you will find yourself wanting to hug some these characters. They went through a lot and I liked that through the heavy moments, we were rewarded with some much needed humor. I wouldn't rate it a five because there were times Charlie annoyed me, I understand her situation but she couldnt get over her past until the end of the book.

Who would have thought that a monster would be the best thing for you when you've always looked for a prince? Every so often I‘ll come across a book that was so good I think I‘ll never find another that can top that one. That was this book for me, I loved that Elijah was open and honest from day one, no secret past or a string of random hookups, it was refreshing to read something different. I really like Hadley too. This is a must read.
