Starting some of these tonight. Particularly excited for lots of lists!!!!
I'm fixed!! I've finally found a book I can read after my Lord of Shadows book hangover 😍
OH MY GOSH!!! Cassandra Clare is coming to London in August and I managed to get a ticket. I'm losing my shit 😂😂
I loved this film and thus the screenplay so very much!! I've watched it so many times but need to rewatch it again soon!
One last go trying to get into this book! This is described as a "Mulan reselling" so thought I'd try it out as Mulan is my favourite Disney film. I just haven't been able to get into it though!! For those of you that have read it what did you think?
Is anyone else still not over this?! This may honestly be the worst book hangover I have ever experienced!!!
4/5⭐️
My husband recommended this to me, he's not a big reader so I was shocked. I was even more shocked to find that I actually really really enjoyed this book!! It's cute, it's funny and a nice easy read, was just a bit short and probably aimed at much younger readers than my usual fare but it was good nether the less!
"Oh, if we could end love just by willing it, life would be very different!' Tessa laughed. 'It's easier to end someone else's love for you than kill your love for them, or that you are someone they cannot respect-ideally both."

I wanted to love this book so much. The hype was so very real and I didn't utterly hate this book but I was super disappointed with the lack of real epicness. I think it really tried and it wasn't terrible but maybe it tried too hard and ended up dismissing a lot of the important issues from ACOMAF. But there was more Lucien and that makes me super happy!! This book. THIS BOOK. 5/5 ⭐️
I found out about this book literally just before it came out and I think it has been one of my fastest reads this year as I just couldn't put it down! 💙 I cannot explain how much I loved it, the world, the story, the characters and just the way it was written 😍 I can't wait for the next one and it's certainly made me want to check out other h by Lani Taylor!
This was such a cute, cosy easy read for me. I really enjoyed it. I wasn't pleased with the (in my opinion) rather abrupt ending but I did like a fair bit about this. I'll be reading "Carry on" for sure! I'd probably only give it 3.5/5 stars but I think it's for sure a book that I would recommend!
Oh Wow this book.
I absolutely loved it! It felt a little slow in places but really picked up the pace as it got going and is filled with Shadowhunter sexual tension 😂 The characters are all so rich and developed I just adored it. It also ripped my heart out and fed it to me. I've not been able to read more than a page or so of any other book since! Check out my full review at: https://youtu.be/jRQGrbBqIIE
