This is actually a great book. Its Cinderella/Hansel & Gretal/Forrest Gump...And having Tom Hanks read me this, is perfect. Can this get a movie deal stat?! not a big fan of the gentrification profits but the main plot is amazing! #thedutchhouse

AMAZING. I am new to Moreno-Garcia's books; Mexican Gothic is just amazing. Horror, thrills, page turning excitement. You want the heroines to have a happy ending the roles are switched, the princess saves pauper. I need a movie adaptation of this. The best latinx writing I've read as of late! The Guradian had it right calling it Lovecraftian meets the Brontes! A must read.

Love the illustrations and the Netflix series

I love this graphic novel series. Cat lovers and graphic novels what's not to like? :) Manfried really does save the day.

It's a fun read and a good etiquette book/self help book. I wish I had this book 4 yrs ago, so something's I found myself saying "that we're could've been helpful to know" Overall, a fun quick read.

I found it refreshing it takes place in the early 2000's (2001) so present day is not in the mindset of the reader which allows you to feel nostalgia/ recall where you were&what you were doing during those yrs. The main character is a chronically depressed&psychotic young woman. This book is relevant today because this was the precursor to the opioid crisis and this was right before 9/11.Overall it's a fascinating read even if it's not relatable.

A must read. Socio-political issues are the undertones of this; however, the love stories and character development/growth is fascinating. It's an emotional rollercoaster ride. I would love a movie adaptation of this.

If you are feminist read this, it is a fiction book but the topics discussed are relatable and definitely a read for millennials. Any generation can appreciate this book.
