Bobin gives us another view into the life of Emily Dickinson. He takes us through her life and relationships. He shows us that Emily lived a rich complex life. The book is told in short essays, I don't quite know how else to describe it. A unique subject told in a unique format. A must read for the Emily Dickinson fan.

This is my first time reading this book & I highly enjoyed it. While I was reading it I kept thinking to myself that this is where our society can go with the path that is currently being taken. It scares me because it feels so real. I think everyone should read this book right now so we can see what we don't want for our future.

tpixie Starting the book for @litsybookclub. Glad we have three branches of government and glad our President doesn't believe in Big Government and isn't a religious zealot! 🍀 7y

These women are indeed rad! Some of the ladies in the book I knew but most were new to me which I love. There are so many amazing women in this world of ours that everyone should go out & read this book!

I really enjoyed this book. I loved this take on the fairy tales chosen and how he brought them into our world and our time but yet kept them true to the original. If you like different telling a of fairy tales I highly recommend this book.

My biggest complaint with this book is that it seemed she stayed stuck on her body issues. There were far too many essays regarding body size and image. When she would write on other topics like internet trolls or family I found those to be very enjoyable. It felt like she was a broken record many times and that was a disappointment.

I didn't know what this was about before I picked it up but I didn't care because Neil is my favorite author & I knew it would be good. Two friends end up at the wrong party and meet some very interesting girls at the party. I don't want to say anymore but it does live up to Neil's other works.

As a former derby girl I'm always a little worried when a book is based on derby. Will it be accurate or will the skater put on skates for the first time & be amazing? This is true to the sport. It follows a junior derby player just starting out. I loved it! It makes me want to put my skates on!

This is the first book in quite some time I want to put in the hands of all my female friends. She writing is powerful, raw, honest, heartbreaking and uplifting. She says what I have felt or thought or said in my life. Some things were like a gut punch of truth. Amazing!

I really enjoyed this read. It felt like a fresh idea and fresh concept. The writing is great and so is the art. I can't wait to dive into the next book.

I'm really enjoying this book. I just started part two and I'm finding that it moves quickly and I want to keep reading to find out what happens to Jane.
