The 2nd book of Lore reads as well as the first. The short story setup makes them easy to read in short bursts. Which was something I needed with Wicked Mortals. If true crime is not your genre (it's not mine) the section covering notorious murderers and serial killers might take a few breaks to get through. Outside of that it remains an entertaining read. I'm googling the release of the 3rd installment now.

A great collection of Mr Mahnke's works pertaining to all varieties of creepy critters. I could clearly hear his voice as I read. Already downloaded the next book in the series and have eagerly started to read. #creepyfun #folklore

Brief Cases | Jim Butcher

As much as Harry is the star of the series, the stories from the perspective of his allies(or enemy) are what make this book a must have.
