Went to this book signing yesterday. Listened to the author read a portion and get a book signed. Really good story of a 17th century girl beginning life with a chosen Duke. As the author says she gets chased up a tree and has lots of rocks thrown at her. Good read.

I don‘t know why I put this read off so long. Twain‘s understanding of this young man‘s journey is bright, funny, and heartfelt. ‘Twas a joy.
