I read for two hours yesterday. Almost finished with the poetry section in A Treasury of Irish Literature.
1. Not much going on. I plan on trying to do a lot of reading for the #MarvellousMarch readathon this week.
2. I don‘t read much Romance.

Had to take a few extra pictures of this beauty 😍 Absolutely stunning! ❤️ Love that they have the poems broken down by the author and there are SOOO many in here, and a few stories as well.
I have vivid memories of the bells of St Fin Barre on the river Lee in place of the ones in Shandon (I lived much closer to the former), but this poem is basically all the feels for me. Those bells will always hold a very dear place in my heart
I had never really read anything by Irish poet Thomas Moore, but now I think I‘ll have to find a collection of his. His poems are modern in a way & I love it. Can‘t wait to see what other discoveries are in this volume!
