Got this whole stack at Strand and Housingworks in NYC for less than $25! My daughter and I loved Rebecca Stead's first two books so I picked up Goodbye Stranger for her. She devoured it in 2 days and loved it.

This was a great little coming of age story set Kansas in the early 80s. Loved the characters, especially the young girl narrator --her voice rang very true to me.
