Eleven Minutes | Paulo Coelho

Really loved this book! I was honestly shocked that Paulo Coelho would write about sex with such detail, but he was able to do so without erotica coming into play. I loved the entire storyline, and his writing always pulls me in and keeps me hooked. Great book!

Absolutely incredible writing, story, and message- and I‘m not even halfway through! I‘ve already cried, and highly recommend this book regardless of your political views.

I got sucked in really quickly, but man, the ending leaves much to be desired. I kept thinking (hoping!) all of these horrible moments would open to a happy ending. It seemed like a lot of it was written from a furious teenager who couldn‘t sequence her thoughts. It‘s a horribly sad story, so be sure you‘re emotionally resilient! #sadstories #bookworm #lovetoread #alwaysreading #learnfromothers

Anyone else remove book jackets when reading? I always get nervous I‘ll ruin them during the many transports my books have, since I can‘t leave my house without a book! #bookworm

jfalkens I do✋ I don't usually travel with my book but I take it off to keep it looking nice and I hate when it slips off the book while your reading. Plus I love seeing the simpler designs or hidden covers underneath 😊 7y
LPezzo Yes! Me too! Sometimes I think I look mysterious reading a book with no cover 😂 7y

So excited to learn more about such an inspiration. I love Pope Francis, and although I don‘t share his religious beliefs, I think he is exactly what we need at such a pivotal time in our society. I‘m crazy about autobiographies, memoirs, and biographies lately. No doubt this one will be at the top of my list of faves!

Amelia's Story | D G Torrens

Started reading this book the other day- already hooked. Haven‘t read any summaries or anything other day the BookBub blurb, so it‘s exciting to read a book that I have no expectations of, or information about. Let‘s see how it turns out!

Great read. Lots of action, interesting story with a twist at the end. I love Dick Wolf‘s shows, the book reminds me most of Homeland. Will definitely read more of his books!

I was surprised I liked this book so much after reading some of the reviews. It took a few chapters to really get into it, but it was worth it. I felt the book was different from many of the novels out now. I loved the idea of the Infinite Family Project, and it went along with the idea that it takes a village to raise a child. It didn‘t shy away from conflict either, which made it more realistic. Definitely recommend!

Read this for a book club I just joined and was not disappointed!! It‘s an easy read, told from@the perspective of 3 characters, and has so many twists and turns. I love the writers style and how perfectly she portrays each character in the book. I couldn‘t put it down, highly recommended!

I can‘t decide how I feel about this book. It‘s a little difficult to get into, and the storyline is somewhat unique. I‘ve found upon finishing, I‘m wanting more, if for no other reason than I am unsatisfied with the ending. I found the characters interesting, but still seemed to be left wanting more. Great read for writers, who already have the creative juices flowing. For myself, I‘m still left unsure.

The Silver Star: A Novel | Jeannette Walls

I read this after The Glass Castle, which I also loved. In a way, I wish I read Jeanette Walls' novels prior to her memoir because I already see the connection to her childhood in her novels. She's a great writer, easy reads for sure, which is definitely necessary sometimes!

Easily my favorite author in a while. I have read every single book he's written and have fallen in love with all of them. She's Come Undone is a coming of age novel that has moved me and Oprah! She placed his book on her book club list, which started my love affair for his writing. Do yourself a favor and dive into his wonderful fiction, learn more about him and read his book of short stories (written by women in a correctional facility).
